Help the Red Cross - Donate Blood at Government House, 30-31 August

The Australian branch of the Red Cross Society was officially formed at a meeting at Government House on 13 August 1914, and the Government House Ballroom was used as a Red Cross depot during World War One.

Government House will continue its historic link with the Australian Red Cross with a special event that will see its  Ballroom transformed into a temporary blood donor centre this August.

Location: Government House Ballroom, Government House Drive (accessed from St Kilda Road)
